Freelance Network Field Engineer
ITARMI
We’re looking for an experienced L2 Network Field Engineer to support enterprise and project-based deployments across multiple client sites. If you’re a hands-on troubleshooter who thrives in the field and enjoy solving real-world network challenges — this is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing Level 2 onsite network support (break/fix, troubleshooting, diagnostics)
- Installing, configuring & supporting routers, switches, firewalls & Wi-Fi solutions
- Supporting LAN/WAN environments across enterprise sites
- Performing rack & stack, patching, structured cabling & hardware swaps
- Assisting with network upgrades, migrations & refresh projects
- Working closely with remote NOC / L3 teams
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in L2 Network Support / Field Engineering
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing & switching
- Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, or Aruba Networks
- Comfortable working independently onsite
- Own toolkit & reliable transport (where required)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA preferred)
