Field Service Coordinator

Job Responsibility: Job Title: Field Service Coordinator Division Weir Minerals Location Calgary, Alberta Canada Onsite Purpose of Role: The Service Coordinator will support the Service Manager, Canada in the management of all field service activities. The Service Coordinator ensures that the total available hours are optimized and attains maximum utilization on a national level. They are also responsible to offer maximum visibility on service utilization and will initiate and follow up on specific metrics pertaining to the efficiency of service. Manage all FS orders and report weekly input/output numbers to Service Manager. Coordinate all logistics for FS staff to various locations across Canada. • Focus Area: Support Weir Canada financial goals for cost recoveries, input/output, utilization and GM. Monthly reports for FS trades utilization
• Focus Area: Assist with the assignment of work to technicians based on priorities, in constant communication with Service managers and operations supervisors
• Focus Area: Assist all AE's and project managers for the allocation of resources on sales work orders requiring service work, including commissioning
• Focus Area: Manage all of the sub-contractors when repairs are executed with third party, ensuring the repairs are carried according to our standards and in the required deadlines;
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business and/or equivalent mixture of technical education (Engineering or Technologist diploma) with experience may also be considered.
• Project Management experience is an asset - must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
• 4-5 years of Service coordinator experience
• High level admin with a heavy background in Service(will also be considered).
