Provide culturally sensitive substance use services as an Addictions Counsellor for the Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society in Toronto. Assist Aboriginal individuals and families through assessments and treatment planning. The Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society is looking for a skilled Addictions Counsellor to deliver essential services. This role emphasizes counseling and case management while promoting community education. You will work closely with Aboriginal clients, creating tailored solutions to support their unique needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for substance use
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling to clients and families
