EAP Counsellor

Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Sexologist EAP Counsellor – Sherbrooke, QC – Permanent, 3 or 4 days/week.

You will develop your clinical skills while working with a diverse and stimulating client base. How You Will Make an Impact

• Adapt your interventions to fit your personal style, providing short‑term counselling to a varied client base with diverse issues.
• Efficiently manage administrative requirements using clinical templates and technology tools that simplify note‑taking.
• Participate in team meetings and peer groups where open discussions are encouraged.

What You Bring

• Comfortable with a diverse client base and skilled in brief interventions.
• Proactive, resourceful, and organized, valuing collaboration with colleagues.
• Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field.
• Registered member in good standing with the OPQ, OTSTCFQ or OPSQ.
• Have at least five years of clinical experience.
• Can set short‑term goals and use a solution‑focused approach.
• Empathetic and able to manage crisis or high‑risk situations.
• Strong time‑management skills and can manage a high volume of clients.
• Proficiency in French required, bilingualism is an asset.
