PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR - AVENUE ROAD ROOFING
Company Description: Established in 1974, Avenue Road Roofing is a leading exterior contractor providing commercial and residential roofing services including: shingles, cedar, slate, flats, TPO, siding, gutters, fascia, soffits as well as full scope of masonry services.
Job Overview: Avenue Road Roofing is seeking a dedicated Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting construction project management functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy construction environment.
Responsibilities: - Assist in administration within a construction/trades organization.- Support construction project management functions.- Handle customer relations and service effectively.- Resolve issues or conflicts with customers or crews during the construction process.- Maintain records, organize warehouse inventory, and order construction materials.- Utilize computer skills for MS Office, Word, Excel, emails, and construction software.
Requirements: - Previous experience in construction/trades administration preferred.- Strong customer service skills.- Familiarity with construction project management processes.- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.- Proficiency in MS Office applications and construction software.- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Location: The office and warehouse are located in the Dufferin/Eglinton area of Toronto with easy access to TTC subway and bus lines.
Required for All Applicants: - Current criminal background check.- Construction trades-related resume and references.
- Easily understood English with excellent proficiency in written and oral skills.- Basic health and safety training certifications (WHMIS, H/S AWARENESS CRS).- On-site testing during the interview process to assess work-related attributes.
Note: Full-time schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday with possible overtime. Pay range: $23.00-$26.00 per hour. Expected hours: 35-45 per week with possible reduced hours in winter months.
