Overview:

The Operations Assistant is responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to the food manufacturing facility. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, analysis, coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Analysis:

• Enter production data for all facilities into the ERP system.
• Review and analyze production output to identify waste and report findings to management.
• Coordinate with production and packaging on urgent orders and customer requirements.
• Spot check ERP data and adjust as needed

Logistics and Coordination:

• Arrange transportation and appointments for all third-party storage facility transfers.
• Coordinate material transfers between facilities.
• Coordinate Waste Management pick ups.
• Assist with annual year-end inventory count.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain a database of packaging weights, dimensions, and pallet details.
• Scan and file service reports for maintenance department.
• Perform time studies for new products.
• Track packaging and film waste and report to Management.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Assist with sourcing supplies, tools, and parts.
• Provide support to the QA department when necessary.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in data entry and analysis
• Must be fluent in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be resourceful and have a go-getter personality.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00 per hour
