Medical Clinic Administrator

Job Responsibility:

The medical administrator is responsible for coordinating the medical support activities for a team of nurse practitioners and their patients.

Key responsibilities:

- attending to phone queries, scheduling of appointments, document scanning, faxing and filing;

- supporting nurse practitioners with patient appointments, including preparing patients and rooms for examination;

- ensuring patient records are current and accurate;

- facilitating the referral process, both internal and external to the clinic;

- overseeing patient-specific tasks and registration of patients;

- working in collaboration with the entire interdisciplinary team; and

- participating in facility cleaning.

- ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients in person, on the telephone, and in writing while demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor;

- ability to work with patients of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds, as well as the ability to treat everyone with equal understanding, respect and dignity;

- ability to maintain patient and clinic confidentiality at all times;

- detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; and

- enthusiastic desire to contribute to the overall success of the clinic by demonstrating genuineness, integrity, warmth and a resolute desire to help others.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
