Roles and Responsibilities

• Establish a robust framework for overseeing and guiding the digital transformation initiatives within the Materiel Group.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital services program to oversee all digital initiatives within the Materiel Group.
• Create a streamlined digital operating model to enhance efficiency and support the integration of new technologies.
• Ensure digital governance structures are aligned to support digital initiatives, providing oversight and strategic direction.
• Promote transparent communication and collaboration across the organization to ensure alignment and shared understanding of digital goals and initiatives.
• Provide the necessary resources, tools, and support to facilitate the successful adoption and implementation of digital technologies.
• Simplify and expedite the procurement of digital solutions to reduce bottlenecks and improve agility.
• Implement training and development programs to enhance the digital literacy of the workforce, ensuring they are equipped to use new digital tools and processes effectively.
• Develop and integrate the foundational digital infrastructure and capabilities necessary to support and sustain digital transformation initiatives.
• Create an integrated and accessible enterprise architecture to support digital initiatives and ensure interoperability across systems.
• Improve data management and analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Establish a common digital ecosystem to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of digital tools and systems.
• Facilitate collaboration and information sharing by ensuring digital integration with external partners and stakeholders.
• Establish a cybersecurity program that contributes effectively to the broader objectives of a comprehensive security program.
• Implement and manage digital services that are sustainable, integrated, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Support the implementation and adoption of SAP S/4HANA.
• Adopt and implement other departmental products to modernize the IT infrastructure and support digital transformation.
• Transform and digitalize business processes and services to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction by leveraging the departmental digital backbone.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate, diploma or degree in business management or information management from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution; and
• PMI certification (PMP or CAPM).
• 4 years' experience within the past 8 years being actively involved supporting client's Defencex initiative and other foundational initiatives dealing with key data elements within the Materiel Group.
• 5 years' experience within the past 8 years contributing to a Supply Chain ERP environment related Programs and initiatives either as Solution Architect or Project/Program Manager (Admin).

Job Requirement

• Must have Secret Level Security Clearance
• Bilingual (English and French) - Advance level

Location:

• National Capital Region (NCR): Ottawa-Gatineau Region
• This position is a hybrid position.

Job Types: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 months

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kanata, ON K2K 3E7
