Vancouver HR Business Consultant Role
NAV CANADA
Enhance HR operations as a Business Advisor for NAV CANADA in Vancouver. This hybrid role specializes in labor relations, policy interpretation, and employee support. In this consultant role, you will be instrumental in shaping HR strategies across NAV CANADA's Vancouver Flight Information Region. Collaborating with People Managers, you will leverage your strong judgment and analytical skills to address HR inquiries, support organizational goals, and provide mentorship. Your ability to facilitate difficult conversations and build trust will be essential in this dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide managers on HR policies and practices
- Implement new HR programs reflecting best practices
- Conduct research to support decision-making
- Resolve employee complaints in consultation with HRBP
- Maintain external HR industry relationships
- Bachelor’s degree or HR certification
- 3 to 5 years of applicable experience
- Skilled in report writing and investigations
- Familiarity with union environments
- Experience with HR systems like Workday
