Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist Role

Fraser Health is looking for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to take on a temporary role that includes clinical and educational responsibilities. Your expertise will enhance care for inpatients and outpatients alike. This position allows US-trained physicians to benefit from British Columbia's recent regulatory changes for licensure. Focus areas will include pre-conception care, maternity problem management, and fetal diagnostics. You'll also have the chance to contribute to the educational activities at UBC, influencing the next generation of medical professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide antenatal care for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Address maternal medical and obstetrical challenges effectively
- Execute fetal diagnosis and related procedures
- Demonstrate superior communication and consultation ability
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- FRCSC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Completion of approved Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship
- CPSBC full licensure eligibility or hold a full license
- CMPA eligibility is essential
- Engage in UBC medical education and training initiatives
