The Accounting Clerk supports the Financial Controller by maintaining current records on receivables, payables and store sales.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Maintain current accounts receivable and accounts payables records.
- Verify store records such as invoices, purchase orders, etc., for accuracy prior to entering and filing.
- Contact suppliers and/or head office via email or phone as necessary.
- Maintain professional confidentiality of all store and customer records.
- Data entry.
- Work on additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications/Assets:
- A general understanding of accounting principals.
- Experience using Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
- Ability to problem solve and critically think.
- Previous retail experience in a similar role is not necessary but considered an asset. This position can be made either full or part-time, dependent on the successful candidate's preference and skill sets.
