Xtended Hydraulic & Machine Inc. is a growing locally-owned company specializing in hydraulic repair, machining, manufacturing, and industrial services. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions.
Duties: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes
Oversee GST/PST filings, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
Support corporate tax preparation and external audits
Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to management
Support inventory accounting, job costing, and profitability analysis
Lead financial reporting and process improvements within our Odoo ERP system
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Provide strategic financial insight to ownership and management Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
Experience preparing financial statements and supporting year-end accounting
Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills
Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an asset
CPA designation or active enrollment in the CPA program is a strong asset
Manufacturing, industrial, or construction industry experience preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary
