Lead Technical Artist for 2K Games

Become a Senior Technical Artist at 2K Sports Lab in Vancouver, BC, where innovative game design meets technical artistry. Collaborate with teams to enhance and optimize the gaming experience using Unreal Engine 5. As a key member of the team, you will bridge the gap between art and engineering, tackling various technical art challenges. Your responsibilities will include developing UI and HUD features, optimizing shaders, and defining workflows that support UI Artists. This role is perfect for someone with extensive experience seeking to push creative boundaries. Key Responsibilities:
- Build UI screens and HUDs with backend code integration
- Effectively create prototypes and iterate using UE 5
- Collaborate with Leads to enhance content workflows
- Develop UI shaders to meet artistic needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and training resources
- 6+ years as a Technical Artist, with at least 1 AAA title
- Proficient in modern 3D software and shader networks
- Experience with UMG scripting and UE Blueprints
- Technical knowledge of CgFX and HLSL
- Strong communication with cross-functional teams
