The UHN Rehabilitation program is hiring for two positions focused on the mentorship and provision of rehabilitation care for individuals with acquired brain injuries. You will be involved in providing lectures and clinical consultations while working closely with medical trainees to cultivate the next generation of healthcare professionals. Your role will also require you to maintain high standards of clinical practice in a teaching workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rehabilitation consultations for acquired brain injuries
- Educate undergraduate and postgraduate medical students
- Support inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation within the university system
- Participate in departmental education initiatives
- Engage in supervision and assessment of trainees
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree with eligibility for Ontario licensure
- Fellowship or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Solid record of teaching excellence in medical environments
- Master Teacher program completion or equivalent educational background
- Additional fellowship in acquired brain injury care is advantageous
