Social Worker (MSW), ABI & Neurological Rehab Care

At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Social Worker (MSW)  to support our ABI & Neurological Rehab Care department. 

Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 5 months)

Job Outline:

Working closely with the team, this challenging position requires specific intervention skills including assessment of the patient related to health issues, crisis intervention, individual and family treatment, comprehensive discharge planning and community liaison. This role may be required to work on various units periodically across the Hospital depending on organizational needs.

 

Education & Qualifications:

• Master of Social Work degree
• Current registration with OCSWSSW
• Previous related experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Previous experience working with continuing care patients preferred
• Patient and caregiver counselling and LTC placement experience preferred
• Must be available evenings and weekends
• Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required

Salary: Minimum - $44.67/hour; Maximum - $57.90/hour
