Business System Analyst - Payments (Host to Cloud)

Position Description
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in payments, mainframe, and host-based systems to support modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud and ISO20022 transformation.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office a minimum of 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements across payments systems (SWIFT, EFT, etc.)
- Perform data mapping, integration analysis, and support system design
- Collaborate with business, technology, QA, and architecture teams for end-to-end delivery
- Support host-based system modernization and cloud migration initiatives
- Contribute to solution design, impact analysis, and regulatory compliance (ISO20022, FINTRAC, etc.)
- Assist in testing, validation, and release coordination

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or related role
- Experience in payments domain (SWIFT, ISO20022, wires, etc.)
- Strong technical BSA skills (SQL, data analysis, integration)
- Experience working with mainframe, host-based, or legacy systems
- Knowledge of APIs, ETL, and system integrations
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new systems and technologies

Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud migration (AWS/Azure)
- Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance systems

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
