Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst – Payments
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)
Experience: 10+ Years
Required Skills
- Strong Business Analysis experience including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, workshops, and project discussions.
- Deep knowledge of payment systems and networks: Mastercard, Interac, Visa, Cirrus, TSYS.
- Understanding of payment transaction lifecycle, including authorization, posting, and reconciliation.
- Experience with JIRA for requirements, issue tracking, and delivery management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
- Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and business process assessments.
- Bridge business needs with vendor solutions and serve as a Product SME throughout project delivery.
- Analyze business challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Support production issues, system enhancements, product upgrades, and new initiatives.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate when required.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and business insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and payment network partners.
- Drive change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.
