Operations Accountant

What youll be accomplishing:
-Responsible for McClean Joint-Venture (MLJV) full accounting and financial reporting cycle including:
o    Month end accounting and annual audited financial statements
o    Responding to queries/requests from JV partners
o    Preparation of the annual operating budget for the McClean JEB Mill in collaboration with the McClean Management Team and monthly review of performance
o    Reviewing inventory provision and accounting for any sale of inventory
o    Tracking purchasing performance
o    Developing and monitoring key performance indicators including operational and financial metrics
o    Ministry of Highways Transportation Partnership Agreement quarterly reporting and annual audit
o    Monthly invoicing for Ammonium Sulphate Sales & Toll Mill Fees
o    Assisting external auditors in the performance of the annual year-end audit work
o    Participating in operational excellence reporting initiatives
-Perform other related tasks, as required

Qualities and skills were seeking:
-Commerce degree and/or 2 years accounting training and experience is required
-CPA designation or working towards the CPA designation is an asset
-Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
-Experience using SAP is an asset

Work Location & Schedule:
-Saskatoon Corporate Office
-Monday to Friday, 8:00-4:30; 40 hours/week
-Travel to various projects sites is required
