Northern Vision Development operates the first private senior residence in Yukon. Normandy Living is dedicated to providing the highest level of hospitality and support to seniors in the North. At Normandy Living we strive to provide a community where seniors can live independently, while receiving services that allow them to focus on the things that are most important to them.
We are currently seeking Reception Agents to join our team at Normandy Living who enjoy being with seniors and contributing to the betterment of their quality of life. You will be responsible for the well-being of our residents through kind assistance with everyday enquires.
Responsibilities
- Answers and transfers telephone inquiries, greets and directs visitors;
- Provides routine information and responds to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff;
- Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and couriers;
- Prepares and distributes forms, reports and other documents to appropriate personnel and departments;
- Performs a wide variety of assignments, which are sometimes confidential in nature;
- Receives, processes and records client payments
- Monitors fire alarm panel, security alarm panel and front door while adhering to safety and security duties as per facility policy;
- Ensures client safety by following and applying all standard operational procedures, safe work practices and training provide
Qualifications and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent education completed;
- Minimum one year experience in client services/administrative;
- Strong client focus and a positive attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong computer literacy skills (including word processing, spreadsheet and database software);
- Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours/shifts (This role requires working on weekends specifically)
