Dental Assistant Yukon Dentistry Location 209B Lowe Street Whitehorse, YT Salary 27.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Full time Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits Languages English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Dental practice Willing to relocate Responsibilities: Prepare patients for dental examinations Prepare dental instruments and filling materials Perform reception and clerical duties Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment Educate patients concerning oral hygiene Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant Schedule and confirm appointments Perform intra-oral duties Take and develop X-rays Record dental procedures performed on patients Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Physically demanding Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Large workload Personal suitability Client focus Team player Excellent oral communication Reliability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Until: 2026-03-20
