Onsite Plant Engineer in Atikokan

Be the Plant Engineer at Atikokan station, focusing on mechanical maintenance, project support, and asset management. This role is fully onsite, ensuring an engaging work environment. We are looking for a Plant Engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering and a solid background in power plant operations. You will play a key role in maintenance support and assist with various mechanical projects at the Atikokan, Ontario, facility. Your work involves life extension of equipment, writing procedures, and advising operations staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and project support for the mechanical team
- Contribute to asset management and equipment longevity
- Create and write procedures for operational efficiency
- Assist Operations with technical advice and support
- Engage in project initiation and documentation tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Four years’ experience in manufacturing or power plant environments
- Preferred qualification as a Qualified Engineer in Ontario
- Experience within thermal power plants is a plus
