Mechanical Engineer in Hydropower, Toronto

Join our Toronto team as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer specializing in hydropower projects. Lead crucial mechanical responsibilities to enhance hydroelectric power plant efficiency. In this regular position, you will oversee engineering projects, ensuring exceptional technical quality from design to execution. Collaborate on turbine and generator projects, conduct onsite inspections, and mentor junior engineers in their professional growth. Occasional site visits and business development tasks will enhance your role within our Hydropower team. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical projects for hydroelectric turbines and generators
• Conduct onsite diagnostics, commissioning, and testing
• Identify and assess client needs for power upgrades
• Communicate technical expertise to clients and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers to foster skill development Requirements:
• Degree in mechanical engineering
• 5 to 14 years of experience in hydropower
• Proficient in equipment installation and testing
• Registered Professional Engineer of Ontario or equivalent
• Valid driver's license Drive innovation and share your expertise as part of our dynamic team in Toronto.
