Innovative Mechanical Design Engineer Role

Contribute to Excelsense as a Mid-Level Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on revolutionary surveillance technology. Optimize rugged designs and advance our Clearsight™ technology in this fulfilling position. Excelsense is in search of a mechanical engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You will be tasked with optimizing various components and ruggedized enclosures to support our innovative technologies. Collaborate creatively on designs that integrate thermal solutions and complex systems, leading design reviews based on fundamental engineering principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess engineering concepts with a mechanical design emphasis
- Lead the hardware design process from inception to production
- Execute FEA and hand calculations for optimization tasks
- Construct and test prototypes while analyzing any failures
- Assist with customer hardware demonstrations, including travel
- 3-5 years of mechanical/electro-mechanical experience required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Design
- Proficient in CAD and creating quality engineering drawings
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities necessary
