Take charge of innovative projects as a Project Design Manager with Primero America. This hybrid role merges your mining sector expertise with team leadership in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, or Salt Lake City. Primero America is searching for a Project Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality design outputs for mineral processing plants. With over 10 years of mining experience, you will ensure design integrity, adhere to budget constraints, and maximize safety and operational efficiency while coordinating team efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with design procedures by all team members
- Maintain high standards in quality assurance of outputs
- Facilitate effective design coordination meetings
- Optimize designs for enhanced constructability and maintainability
- Contribute to safety reporting processes
- Minimum 10 years in mining or resource sector
- Licensure as a Skilled Engineer or eligibility for licensure
- Strong track record in team management and mentoring
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work in Canada or the USA
