Job Type: Fall Co-Op / Student Term

$19.00 - $22.00 / hour

Position Summary The Junior Accounting Assistant supports the Finance team with basic accounting and administrative tasks during a temporary fall placement. This role provides hands-on experience in financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable support, data entry, and record maintenance. The position works closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy, organization, and timely processing of financial information while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. About You

Education & Experience

• Education: Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or related post-secondary program
• Experience: Previous office or accounting-related experience considered an asset

Knowledge

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
• understanding of financial documentation and record-keeping

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills
