Are you a recent graduate ready to kick-start your career in finance and accounting? Join our collaborative and supportive team as an Electronic Payments Processing Assistant !

This entry-level, one-year contract position offers hands-on experience in payment processing, electronic funds transfers (EFT), cash reconciliation, and more. You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals who are committed to helping you learn, grow, and succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Process direct deposits, cheques, and credit card payments using our ERP system


• Assist with credit card payment collection and apply payments accurately


• Prepare credit memos for invoices when appropriate


• Support daily financial operations, including filing and organizing receipts


• Set up and process wire transfers


• Help with general office tasks like document filing, scanning, photocopying, and sending faxes


• Respond to customer inquiries and help resolve payment issues


• Collaborate with your team and assist with additional tasks as needed

You’ll do great in this role if you have:

• A College Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field


• A basic understanding of accounting principles and payment processing


• A strong eye for detail and good time management skills


• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally


• A proactive, organized, and team-oriented attitude


• Comfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (but not required—we’ll train you!)


• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours when needed
