Shape Canada's economic narrative as the Director of Communications and Digital with Invest in Canada. Oversee strategic communications and digital initiatives that promote Canadian innovation. In this pivotal leadership role, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will develop and execute proactive communication strategies that elevate Canada’s reputation as a global investment destination. Your responsibilities include corporate messaging, public affairs, and an overarching digital roadmap. Collaborating with senior executives, you will ensure cohesive messaging that reinforces Canada's foreign investment brand. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development of communication strategies and public affairs initiatives
• Direct corporate messaging and website content management
• Manage global social media presence and digital positioning
• Lead a high-performing communications team focused on strategic goals
• Advise on reputation management for senior stakeholders Requirements:
• 10+ years in communications, public affairs, or digital strategy
• Executive-level speechwriting and team leadership experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Expertise in digital communication channels
