Communications Advisor I

About the Role

We’re looking for a bilingual Communications Advisor I to join our Claims Communications team in Quebec (hybrid). In this role, you will develop and deliver high‑impact communications that engage employees, connect the dots across the business, and inspire action.

What You’ll Do Here

• Contribute to internal Claims communication projects with curiosity and a strategic lens, understanding the why behind the work.
• Collaborate with peers to share ideas, challenge thinking, and co‑create solutions.
• Write, edit, and disseminate a variety of internal content, including leadership messaging, talking points, intranet articles, newsletters, and announcements.
• Help structure and frame communications challenges, integrate insights, and develop content that drives meaningful outcomes.
• Lead and contribute to the strategy and playbook development for town halls and employee engagement activities.
• Use data, feedback, and audience insights to identify trends and continuously optimize communications approaches.
• Deliver communications excellence in both English and French.

What You Bring To The Table

• Degree in communication, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of communications experience with a track record of producing polished, independent content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Collaborative and confident, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Organized, proactive, and execution‑focused, with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
• Ambitious and growth‑oriented, motivated to progress and take on greater responsibility.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Canadian work authorization; no Canadian work experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: 59,300 – 72,500 CAD (based on a 35‑hour workweek). Annual bonus target of 7.5% with potential payout up to double the target, subject to personal and company performance. Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with Intact matching 50% of net shares. Pension plan offering guaranteed income for life.
