Consultant, Regulatory Programs

Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.Job Description:Reporting to the Director, Governance Practices and Transformation, the Consultant, Regulatory Programs will support the delivery and ongoing management of regulatory oversight programs and business governance initiatives within Retail Advice & Solutions (RA&S). This role will focus on the day-to-day execution of established programs, operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across the Governance Practices and Transformation team.What will you do?Program Management & ExecutionExecute and manage "run" programs within the BG&C oversight function to ensure consistent and effective deliveryMaintain program documentation, schedules, and tracking mechanismsMonitor program performance against established metrics and timelinesSupport the implementation of compliance and regulatory initiatives across RA&STeam Operations & AdministrationManage team inboxes and coordinate incoming requests and escalationsTriage and prioritize inquiries, ensuring timely routing and resolutionSchedule meetings, coordinate resources, and support project logisticsContinuous Improvement InitiativesLead continuous improvement projects to enhance team efficiency and program effectivenessIdentify process bottlenecks and recommend practical solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issuesTrack and communicate improvement outcomesAnalysis & ReportingCompile and analyze program data to monitor compliance and effectivenessPrepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for management reviewIdentify trends and areas requiring escalation or interventionSupport audit and regulatory reporting activitiesWhat do you need to succeed?University degree or equivalent professional experience3+ years of relevant experience in wealth, insurance, or regulatory functionsExperience with process management, program coordination, or business operationsStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience in regulatory or compliance-focused roles within financial servicesFamiliarity with oversight programs or governance functionsExperience with continuous improvement methodologiesLife insurance industry knowledge or LLQP/LOMA designationWorking knowledge of RA&S regulatory environmentWhat's in it for you?The opportunity to move along a variety of career paths with amazing networking potentialFlexible Benefits from the day you join to meet the needs of you and your familyWe’re committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
