Overview
Join our team as an Investment Lending Consultant and grow your career with Manulife Bank’s Specialized Lending team. The role focuses on sales and relationship management with mass market and mass affluent Financial Advisors, emphasizing investment and RSP loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and expand both internal and external relationships within a specified geographic territory through regular strategic contact with financial advisors and partner representatives.
- Conduct 40 daily outbound calls to educate advisors on investment lending products, strategies, and assist them in completing sales transactions.
- Lead on‑site and remote meetings with advisors to drive sales, demonstrate how investment leverage can strengthen their client relationships, and support their growth objectives.
- Use Salesforce, cold calling, and AI‑powered technologies to manage contacts, qualify prospects, and tailor outreach.
- Collaborate with advisor partners to review and fill applications, ensuring compliance and quality of submissions.
- Assist with service cases, escalations, and resolve concerns to maintain advisor satisfaction.
- Participate in monthly touch‑points with RDS/PLA partners to discuss territory strategy and performance.
- Develop quarterly and yearly business plans, including lead management, marketing campaigns, webinars, email campaigns, and territory budget planning.
- Analyze sales data, reports, and advisor book‑of‑business metrics to ensure sales goals are met and to inform forecasting.
- Take part in a Buddy System to onboard and mentor new team members, fostering their success and integration into the organization.
- Write, present, and execute marketing, sales campaigns, contests, and other initiatives to drive territory sales.
- Identify opportunities for product, service, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
- Maintain strict adherence to AML/KYC/KYA guidelines, industry compliance, and internal policies, and stay updated on training modules.
- Attend team meetings, events, and limited travel for regional and national sales conferences as required.
- Manage a company credit card and budgetary items, ensuring accurate expense reporting.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience in banking or insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience growing a client base and a proven sales track record or high potential.
- Ability to analyze sales data and reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Power BI, and Adobe platforms is an asset.
- Business planning and territory management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Knowledge of banking, investment, and insurance is an asset.
- A passion for learning and development.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required; proficiency to support clients across provinces outside Quebec.

Competitive base salary of $85,500.00 – $125,500.00 CAD plus sales incentives.
