University of Waterloo Sustainability Engagement Lead

Shape the future of sustainability at the University of Waterloo by serving as the Engagement Program Manager, focusing on active participation and behavior change initiatives. This full-time position offers a chance to make significant environmental impacts. As a pivotal member of the Sustainability Office, you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of multiple sustainability programs. Your role involves managing initiatives such as the Green Residence program and the Sustainability Leadership Certificate, all while fostering collaboration among students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to influence sustainability practices within a large academic community. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sustainability program development and delivery
- Manage campus-wide training and certification programs
- Coordinate major sustainability events like Eco-Summit
- Collaborate with various campus entities for program success
- Measure and report participation outcomes
- Bachelor’s Degree in sustainability or related discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
