Role Overview

As a Strategy and Execution Consultant within EY-Parthenon, you will play a vital role in project teams, supporting clients with strategic challenges in transaction and integration engagements. You will work on high-profile deals, providing support across pre‑deal due diligence, operational planning, post‑deal integration, and value‑creation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration strategy, planning, and execution, including project management support and executive communication
• Carve‑out or divestiture strategy, planning, and execution, supporting operating model design and transaction services agreements
• Synergy and value‑realization identification, validation, and tracking
• Development of Transitional Services Agreements
• Creation of M&A and integration playbooks
• Support client engagement teams in executing integration or carve‑out services
• Assist key client decision‑makers in developing and executing transaction strategy to secure deal value
• Identify risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas

Qualifications

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP, CMC) or achievement of the required hours
• 3 years of relevant work experience (preferred)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of assessing complex situations and formulating solutions
• Experience in financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and process improvement (asset)
• Effective organization and time‑management skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements or scopes of work and deliver results under tight deadlines
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write reports and presentations clearly and concisely
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Confidence communicating with clients at all levels, including executive, VP, director, and operational management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment at all levels
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to travel within Canada and the US; must be authorized to work in Canada

Ideally

• Experience in audit, assurance, or related fields
• Previous M&A experience
• Interest and passion for digital, technology, and new business building topics

Salary range for Toronto: $88,000–$108,000.
