Results-driven National Account Manager with 5+ years of experience in consumer-packaged goods, recognized for building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to major retail partners. Proven ability to drive sales growth through strategic planning, category management expertise, and data-informed decision-making. Skilled in negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and identifying opportunities to maximize account performance and customer satisfaction.

The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing profitable sales for the customer while partnering with Product Development, Operations, Category Management, Marketing, Demand Planning and Sales Operations to identify, process and execute all strategic opportunities from program implementation and up through to day-to-day client management.

Your future role
- Build and maintain long-term relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Understand clients’ needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive sales growth through strategic planning and execution
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Track key metrics to make informed decisions
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and forecasts
- Negotiate contracts and agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a unified approach to account management
- Provide training and support to clients on new products or services
Required skills
- 5+ years of experience as a national account manager specializing in consumer - packaged goods
- Successful track record with retail banners such as Home Depot, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Lowes, Costco
- Master of category management principles
