Account Management Coordinator

Job Responsibility: Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Mississauga. The Account Management Coordinator is accountable to provide support to the Program Management Team. This position interacts with Corporate Level Customers, External Suppliers and Vendors, and Internal Stakeholders across all business channels. This position requires strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Responsibilities include product code management, freight cost calculations, buying strategy analysis assistance, customer specific inventory report maintenance, process and source quality goods and materials, and support special customer programs. This role must provide exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Program Managers within various business segments in the execution of daily requests and reporting.
• Contribute to the successful execution of new customer programs and onboarding by tracking inventory and shipments and coordinating with key stakeholders.
• Complete and maintain customer specific forms, templates, third party sites and process.
• Maintain customer catalogue images/items and update Product Activity Forms as required.
• Build relationships with Vendors and Suppliers as required to coordinate cost, samples, availability, and program execution on set up of new/replacement items.
• Support and Assist Corporate Account Manager and Program Manager with RFQ/RFI/RFP requests to identify, source and negotiate the best cost solution.
• Collaborate with Program Manager and Suppliers to research/resolve product concerns such as defective goods, replacement recommendations.
• Intermediary support between Internal Stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, Product Integrity and Inventory Management) and recommends changes to processes/procedures based on customer feedback or business workflow.
• Investigate cost or freight variances and collaborate with all stakeholders to resolve.
• Adjust costing on customer-specific products and coordinate pricing updates with the PM and Corporate Account Pricing Team.
• Facilitate Customer Dedicated Inventory Agreements, and facilitate new/existing item set up, changes and submission with required approvals.
• Participate in scheduled training of system enhancements, applications, products, new processes, and procedures.
• Maintain high level of product and segment base knowledge.
• Complete distribution orders as required to ensure smooth execution.
• Team player who demonstrates a willingness to coach, train, and mentor peers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Business Support/Business Analytics/Logistics role.
• Post secondary education - Business Administration Diploma/Certificate or equivalent business experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal in English. French is an asset.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• Effectively negotiate costs, terms, and quantities.
• Demonstrate effective time management; ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Central liaison between multiple business segments, and ensure accuracy and complete information flow.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, with Advanced knowledge of Excel: pivot tables, calculations etc.
• Exposure to Customer Relationship Management Applications such as Salesforce, Order Fulfillment and Tracking Systems.
• Utilization of Soft Phone Technology.
• In depth knowledge of customer programs and program requirements an asset.
