Projects Land Representative

Reporting to: Manager, Land Operations Projects

Overview

We are seeking a Projects Land Representative to lead and coordinate landowner engagement, land acquisition, and land access activities in support of pipeline integrity and operations projects. You will act as the central land subject-matter expert within project teams, ensuring all land activities align with regulatory, legislative, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landowner engagement and acquisition activities for projects
• Identify land requirements, constraints, and risks; develop mitigation strategies
• Act as the primary land contact within multidisciplinary project teams
• Manage land-related costs, forecasts, and third-party consultants (brokers, appraisers)
• Develop land strategies and execution plans aligned with project objectives
• Support resolution of complex land issues, including negotiations and disputes
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, landowners, and regulators
• Contribute to process improvements and act as a knowledge resource within the team

Qualifications

• 6+ years of land experience in energy or infrastructure
• Experience leading land scope on projects (owner/operator experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Canadian land practices and regulatory frameworks (CER, AER, BCER)
• Proven skills in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and issue resolution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Pandell experience is considered an asset.

Education & Requirements

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• PMP designation considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license required
