SolidWorks Sales Representative

We are currently expanding our presence in Western Canada and seeking a dedicated Account Manager for Alberta. This role is pivotal in maintaining and growing sales within the region, achieving sales targets, and ensuring client satisfaction through the promotion of our technology offerings.

: The SolidWorks Sales Representative will focus on developing and securing business from both new and existing clients. Success in this role hinges on selling our comprehensive suite of SolidWorks/3DEXPERIENCE CAD software, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Enterprise Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) software, partner solutions, and associated training and support contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct sales to potential customers within the assigned territory.
• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, ensuring thorough comprehension of the benefits of our products and services.
• Drive account growth by stimulating interest, establishing needs, and proposing tailored solutions.
• Articulate product features, benefits, and service offerings effectively, addressing customer inquiries and objections.
• Secure meetings, event attendance, subscriptions, and other client engagements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM/VRC systems.
• Provide detailed territory management data, including forecasts, account documentation, and activity reports to support strategic sales planning.
• Identify, evaluate, and address key business issues for accounts within the territory.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven success in competitive sales environments.
• Strong capabilities in sales, customer service, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation.
• Self-motivated and well-organized with a focus on achieving measurable results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of engineering technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Must possess a personal vehicle and valid driver's license.

Education/Experience:

• Post-secondary education (University/College Diploma).
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant sales and software/industry experience.

Pay: $32,494.07-$50,000.00 per year
