Marine Systems HSI/HFE Specialist Role

Transform system design and integration as a Marine Systems HSI/HFE Specialist with Blumara. Your work will embed human-centered principles into complex defense systems. This role demands a solid foundation in Human Systems Integration and Human Factors Engineering, focusing on applying these principles to improve usability and safety. You'll engage with various stakeholders to review designs and conduct thorough assessments, ensuring that operational needs are met without surprises later in the process. Key Responsibilities:
- Align HSI/HFE activities with program standards
- Evaluate designs and program decisions for risks
- Facilitate usability assessments and integration testing
- Participate in technical discussions on system design
- Develop clear and actionable HSI/HFE documentation
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HSI/HFE
- Relevant degree in behavioral science or engineering
- Knowledge of safety-critical systems environments
- Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Canadian security screening eligibility
