We are seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist with deep expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CMDB). In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets using ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro. Your primary focus will be to ensure the integrity of the CMDB, optimize license usage, and drive compliance through industry-standard frameworks like ITIL and ISO 19770.

Responsibilities
- Manage and track IT hardware and software assets through their entire lifecycle, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and disposal.

- Utilize ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro to maintain asset compliance, optimize software licenses, and prevent unnecessary expenditures.

- Drive the accuracy and completeness of the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring Configuration Items (CIs) are correctly associated and data integrity is maintained.

- Collaborate with IT teams to map applications and infrastructure dependencies using ServiceNow Discovery tools to increase visibility.

- Align IT asset processes with company policies and industry standards, including ISO 19770 and ITIL best practices.

- Lead reporting requirements and support internal/external audits related to software licensing and hardware assets.

- Partner with Security, Finance, and Procurement teams to provide training and guidance on ITAM best practices.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing and tracking IT hardware and software assets specifically using ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro.

- Proven track record in maintaining and improving ServiceNow CMDB accuracy and governance.

- Deep understanding of ISO 19770, ITIL frameworks, and Software Asset Management (SAM) best practices.

- Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping tools for infrastructure and dependency tracking.

- Strong grasp of software licensing models, cost optimization strategies, and ITAM/CMDB capabilities.

- ITIL v4 Foundation certification or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in HAM/SAM is highly desirable.

- Prior experience within the Public Sector is considered a strong asset.
