Actuarial Associate - Financial Analysis

Embark on a significant career as an Actuarial Associate at ivari, focusing on financial condition testing and regulatory capital initiatives. This position promises to hone your analytical skills and deepen your actuarial expertise. In the Actuarial Associate role, you will handle a variety of actuarial functions within ivari's Corporate Actuarial Department. You will support LICAT reporting, engage in scenario analysis for business impacts, and contribute to capital management strategies. Your work will include developing actuarial models and preparing critical reports for management decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Support quarterly LICAT regulatory capital reporting processes
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial scenarios
- Assist with regulatory capital research projects
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for products
- Create reports and presentations for senior reviews
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance
- 3+ years relevant experience in life insurance
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries or related designation
- Proficiency in IFRS 17 and LICAT frameworks
- Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of SQL or R is beneficial
