Manager, Financial Analysis In Retail Toronto

Take charge of financial insights within the retail sector in North York, ON as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Engage directly with Merchandising teams to enhance decision‑making through accurate data analysis. This full‑time role is a backfill for a promoted qualified, indicating potential growth opportunities. You will lead two Senior Financial Analysts and focus on key financial metrics to drive merchandising strategies. Your hands‑on approach in analyzing performance metrics will support inventory health and margin performance within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with merchandising on pricing and promotional decisions
- Analyze metrics like GMROI and inventory turns
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Create and maintain KPI reporting dashboards
- Facilitate insights between Finance and business teams
Requirements:
- Over 5 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance
- Proven track record with merchandising teams
- Proficient in Excel and experience with BI applications
- Able to present complex data succinctly
- Resilient under pressure and relationship‑oriented
