Actuarial Co-op in ALM Toronto

Join Foresters Financial as an actuarial Co-op in the ALM team, bringing analytical support to asset and liability management in a hybrid role. You will collaborate with various departments, including Corporate Actuarial and Risk, and learn from experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include enhancing model governance and supporting ALM reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate proposals and perform sensitivity analysis
- Improve documentation and model risk management
- Collaborate with teams across departments
- Assist in changes to ALM reporting
- Support preparation of the Appointed Actuary Report
- Undergraduate actuarial student writing exams
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of GGY Axis and Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI and Hyperion is a plus
