During more than 170 years of Lindt & Sprüngli's existence, it has become known as one of the most innovative and creative companies making premium chocolate, with 12 production sites in Europe and the USA, and distribution and sales companies on four continents.This placement is for Summer 2026.Position: Event Planning Co-opCompensation: approx. $21/hr, 37.5 hrs per weekWork location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid; 3 days onsiteKey ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Executive Assistant, the incumbent will:Support the planning and execution of key internal events, including the annual golf tournament, leadership visits, and company-wide eventsAssist in organizing activities and logistics for executive visits, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site supportSupport planning and coordination of town halls and holiday events, including pre-event preparation and communicationsPartner closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure events align with business needsCoordinate event logistics such as venue bookings, catering, materials, and vendor communicationAssist with event communications and materials to ensure a seamless employee experienceProvide administrative and coordination support to the HR team as requiredRequirementsCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFrench is considered a strong assetHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to take initiative and work both independently and collaborativelyPrevious experience supporting event planning or coordination is an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)To apply, please submit your application directly via the website by July 5, 2026.We thank all those who have applied however, only selected candidates will be contacted.Lindt is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
