Senior Analyst for Pension Calculations

Elevate your career as a Senior Analyst focused on accurate pension calculations at HOOPP. Contribute to quality assurance in operations while utilizing your analytical skills in a supportive work environment. As a Senior Analyst in Calculations, your technical expertise will ensure high quality in HOOPP’s processes. You’ll conduct reviews of off-system calculations, provide support to the Actuarial Solutions team, and recommend enhancements to methodologies. This role is pivotal in maintaining standards and liaising with other operational areas. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare calculation details for off-system processes
• Support actuarial meetings with required materials
• Conduct processing reviews to ensure accuracy of member files
• Analyze data to identify and address quality issues
• Maintain actuarial tools and documentation for processes Requirements:
• University degree in actuarial science, math, or statistics
• Five years in the pension industry with four in analysis
• Proficient in Excel and other relevant software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities in report writing Hone your actuarial skills by ensuring accuracy and quality in pension calculations at HOOPP, contributing to the financial security of Ontario healthcare workers.
