Insight Global is seeking a skilled senior financial analyst, corporate tax to join a leading insurance company based in Waterloo, Ontario. The role involves leading end‑to‑end corporate tax compliance across federal and provincial jurisdictions, preparing returns and schedules for corporate income tax, insurance premium tax, GST/HST, PST, and IIT, and supporting quarterly and year‑end tax provisions and taxable‑income calculations. Responsibilities include monitoring evolving tax legislation and communicating impacts to stakeholders, assisting with internal and external audits (including CRA and provincial reviews), managing audit queries and documentation, providing tax guidance to business units, developing and maintaining tax models and reporting tools, driving process improvements and automation opportunities, supporting updates to tax accounting policies, maintaining accurate documentation and reconciliations, participating in tax planning and recovery initiatives, researching complex tax issues, and reviewing tax assessments while managing amendments, objections, or appeals as required. Required Skills and Experience

3-5+ years of relevant tax experience within insurance, financial services, or the big four accounting firms Solid knowledge and depth of tax accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements CPA designation (or international equivalent) Post‑secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration Nice to Have Skills and Experience

Completion of CPA In‑Depth Tax (Parts I & II) is considered an asset Technology background with Power BI or equivalent We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
