Elevate your financial expertise as a Senior Financial Analyst with CIBC in Toronto. Focus on financial modeling and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Director in CIBC’s Treasury CFO Group, this senior role requires accuracy in modeling and forecasting analyses for timely financial insight. You’ll engage with stakeholders, managing a complex portfolio while fostering ongoing learning and development within Treasury. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting packages for reviews
- Provide accurate financial analysis and actionable recommendations
- Prepare and adapt financial models incorporating key inputs
- Participate in macro stress testing exercises for Treasury
- Support process improvements and communicate changes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; Master’s, CPA, or CFA preferred
- 2+ years in financial reporting, planning, or Treasury
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with stakeholders
- Ability to identify and implement reporting enhancements
