The Financial Crime landscape is continually evolving and becoming increasingly complex for our clients to manage. Our team needs individuals who will help provide expert advice and solutions to address our clients Financial Crime Management needs across the organization. Are you ready for the challenge?

What will your typical day look like?

• Shape Enterprise Strategy: Collaborate with Deloitte and client leaders to solve complex business challenges, assess organizational priorities, and develop strategies that improve performance, reduce risk, and drive meaningful outcomes. Projects may span strategy, governance, transformation, risk management, operations, analytics, and fraud prevention.
• Analyze Complex Problems : Gather and assess qualitative and quantitative information, identify themes and root causes, challenge assumptions, and develop actionable recommendations for clients.
• Facilitate Client Decision-Making : Work closely with stakeholders at all levels to frame issues, align priorities, evaluate options, and support informed decision-making.
• Drive Transformation: Support the design and delivery of initiatives that improve organizational capabilities, strengthen processes, and help clients respond to evolving business challenges.
• Develop Thought Leadership: Produce insights, presentations, and points of view that help clients navigate emerging trends, strategic priorities, and evolving risks.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

We are primarily looking for curious, structured problem-solvers with strong communication and critical thinking skills. Experience in fraud or financial crime is beneficial.
Work experiences that we are looking for include some (or all) of the following:  

 

• Internship or co-op experience in consulting, financial services, risk, audit, operations, public sector, technology, analytics, or related fields.
• Academic projects involving business analysis, strategy, research, data analytics, economics, public policy, or technology.
• Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Participation in case competitions, consulting clubs, investment clubs, analytics competitions, hackathons, or business simulations.
• Exposure to fraud management, financial crime, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, AML, payments, or banking is considered an asset but not required
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Canadian travel may be required.
• Candidates may be required to obtain Government of Canada reliability status.
• For a Winter (January) 2027 start date, you must be completing a post-secondary degree or diploma between December 2025 - December 2026 and for a Fall (September) 2027 start date, you must be completing a post-secondary degree or diploma between September 2026 - September 2027.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $84,000.00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
