Overview The Portfolio Group is seeking a Senior Recruitment Manager (agency background) to lead and grow our Payroll Recruitment team in Toronto.
Responsibilities As a hands‑on Manager, you will lead from the front in running your own desk within Payroll Recruitment, taking responsibility for the full recruitment lifecycle including business development & winning new clients, recruiting, candidate & client management, and managing the full process.
Client development, relationship building and business development Lead generation
Client meetings – both in person and video
Recruiting – head‑hunting, networking & candidate process management
Internal cross‑selling and collaboration Database management
Managing, coaching and training the existing team
Working with the Director to establish hiring plans and growth of the team
Qualifications You should be a successful 360 agency recruiter incorporating both recruiting and sales, with a professional services sector background. You should have:
Previous experience of leading and managing a team
Experience of business development and winning new clients
Strong candidate management and process management skills
Strong relationship building skills
Driven, proactive and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
