Take the helm as President and Chief Executive Officer of the WSCC in either Yellowknife, NT or Iqaluit, NU, guiding critical safety initiatives for workers. This full-time position focuses on strategic direction and leadership. The WSCC serves as an essential provider of workers’ compensation services throughout Canada’s North. The President reports to the Governance Council, accountable for ensuring the effective execution of duties under various safety acts. Candidates should showcase a commitment to enhancing the WSCC's service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the strategic vision of the WSCC
- Ensure compliance with all safety and compensation regulations
- Enhance the delivery of services across provinces and territories
- Liaise with the Governance Council on organizational matters
- Cultivate relationships to drive safety improvements
- Executive leadership experience in relevant fields
- Understanding of worker compensation laws
