Intact is seeking a Senior Underwriter for its Specialty Solutions team. You will leverage your 5 to 7 years of underwriting experience in equipment breakdown to foster long-term partnerships with brokers and ensure policy compliance. Your analytical and negotiating skills will be essential for success, contributing to a collaborative work atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
- Accept, reject, or renew policies according to guidelines
- Build lasting relationships with broker partners through premium service
- Negotiate and maintain strong external and internal relationships
- Respond to broker inquiries using effective communication
- Mentor team members and support cross-division initiatives
- 5 to 7 years of relevant underwriting experience
- Strong analytical and customer service skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Bilingualism required for Quebec-based candidates
