The role serves as a technical authority and trusted advisor to the sales team, customers, partners and community in the Canada region.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serving as the technical point of contact for your accounts and account managers in your assigned territory.
• Developing a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and articulating how Elastic offerings address their needs.
• Crafting and owning value‑based relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
• Participating in all phases of planning and execution for your territory, from initial discovery to the technical win.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Elastic products and solutions to demonstrate value in sales meetings and at events (meetups, conferences).
• Advising the sales team on effective ways of positioning Elastic products, solutions and services.
• Onboarding, educating and enabling partners, and supporting them in sales cycles.
• Crafting collateral, contributing to programs, and collaborating with others to meet client needs.
• Being the voice of the customer and community to communicate needs, gaps and improvements to engineering and leadership teams.
• Deepening both sales and technical skills through self‑driven education and professional development opportunities offered by Elastic.

What You Bring

• A track record of success in a technical presales role with experience selling and implementing technology to earn customer trust.
• Proven ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software and technologies.
• A real passion for curiosity and continuous learning; you invest in yourself as well as in professional relationships.
• History of successful customer relations with architectures that meet goals or solve problems and outpace competitors.
• Ability to influence and inspire groups, both large and small.
• Willingness to travel ~30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French and English to support French‑speaking customers, partners and stakeholders across Canadian markets.

Salary and Hiring Details

Compensation includes base salary plus a target variable component (On‑Target Earnings, OTE) with a 70/30 base to variable pay mix. Typical starting ranges in CAD are provided for base, variable and OTE, with potential variation based on factors such as location and experience. Elastic offers stock participation and a retirement savings plan with matching. Typical salary ranges listed:

• Starting salary range: CAD 112,300 – 177,600
• Target variable range: CAD 48,100 – 76,100
• OTE range: CAD 160,400 – 253,700
